First Haircut!

On Friday, Landon got his first haircut! He looks like such a big boy! Everything went well, he was just super nosey and wanted to see everything going on. The barber gave him a lolipop to eat, and then he dropped it. Needless to say, his cheeks and mouth were sticky and all the hair that fell made him look like he had a beard :) I saved some of his curls for his baby book, too. His hair isn't as soft anymore, but that is okay...he's a big boy now!

10 months

Well, Landon turned 10 months on the 16th! Time is FLYING by! I cannot believe it! He hasn't quite started to walk or show any interest in walking. He cruises from different furniture pieces though like a champ. He will walk whenever he is ready - I'm not too concerned. I cannot believe that November is almost over. Thanksgiving is next week! I am excited to see the family. My flight was screwed up to go up for Nanny's funeral, so I couldn't go. I am still upset about it, but at least I know she is in peace. It will be fun to laugh about the funny things Nanny used to say and do - it will help us all have closing.

Sad Friday...

Today is a very sad day. Nanny passed away. I know that it has hit our family very hard, but we know she is at peace and can be with PapPap finally. I am still in shock, but I know I will have a good cry about it later tonight. This Thanksgiving I hope we can share stories about Nanny to put smiles on our faces. She was such a funny and beautiful person. We will miss her very much. I know she won't be in pain anymore and will finally be truely happy again.

November already?

Wow time has really flown by. I cannot believe it is November already! I love Fall. The holidays are right around the corner and I love the weather. If time keeps moving like this, Christmas will be here tomorrow! I cannot wait! Is it bad that I have been listening to Christmas music in the car? :) I am thankful I do not have to work during the holidays this year. We will get to spend more time with our family, horray! Shane and I decided to go all out for Christmas this year since he will not be here for it next year. We want to make sure that it is very special for all three of us. I am thankful though he gets to celebrate Landon's FIRST birthday! Speaking of which, I have no idea what theme it will be. I need to start brainstorming ideas for it. I have a lot of work to do in the next couple months!

Tomorrow is our TWO year wedding anniversary! Horray! I am very excited!

Happy Halloween!

Hope you had a spook-tacular Halloween! We had a great time walking Landon around trick-or-treating. We went with our friends Chad and Naomi, and their kiddos. It was chilly, but his costume was very thick and kept him nice and warm. My mom saw this costume at Babies R' Us and it was only $6.50! What a deal! Landon received a lot of compliments on how cute his costume was. We got home around eight or so, and he was wiped out. He was so exhausted - he didn't want to miss a thing so he didn't even fall asleep!

Here are a few pictures. Enjoy!
